I would call another dealership and see what they say, many times those decisions are made by the service dept manager. which is one of the reasons why so many people get ripped off. I think all dealers should have to employ a corporate service rep, and it should be their sole job to make sure that each customer is fully educated about their warranty upon purchasing their new car, as well as handling warranty claims for the service dept. I think it would prevent a lot of headaches for the customer and even more so for the dealership staff

My 2008 Dodge 1500 is still in the 3 yr 36,000 warranty and my dealer won't cover my leaking rack and pinion steering, much less my lifetime powertrain warranty. They said I have too much mud under my 4x4 truck. I have 24,000 miles

Ask them to show you specifically in your warranty where it says mud on the underside of your vehicle voids your warranty.

Many dealerships refuse to do warranty work in the hope that the customer will accept it and not fight it. The law of averages is on their side. If you fight them, they will have to give in. Tell them you'd like to file a protest with a regional service rep...

Still fighting with them. I told them not to fix it and have talked my self blue in the face with Dodge. They have had my truck for 3 weeks and counting. Now I am driving my dads powerstroke with 265,000 miles and still going strong.

What excuse is Dodge giving you? You have to be leaving something out, like damage due to off-roading or something, because Dodge wouldn't back the dealer if it was ONLY mud underneath the vehicle...

Live on a farm and my county has 500 miles of dirt road. There is a lot of mud, but I haven't been four wheeling.

Yea ive had HELL with the dealer....ive taken it in multiple times and they have literally argued with me multiple times...i have brought them to threads on here where multiple people have shown problems and they said they would have to see yalls trucks to be sure...

I get my dad to take my truck in...They have fixed everything he has brought it in for, days after they told me no

Also, I bought my truck the week before the LPW went into effect. Called Chrysler and they send me the paperwork and gave it to me for free. I havent kept up with oil changes and stuff, dont really know the stipulations, and im sure they would say eff off if i brought it in...bought the 60k b2b also
