Also, I bought my truck the week before the LPW went into effect. Called Chrysler and they send me the paperwork and gave it to me for free. I havent kept up with oil changes and stuff, dont really know the stipulations, and im sure they would say eff off if i brought it in...bought the 60k b2b also

yeah, I've seen where it seems to be a company wide conspiracy to deny warranty repair to women and kids, but not to guys in their 30s and older. Probably based on some "study" that shows younger guys and women will take it where older guys fight it. Either that or the service manager just doesn't want to get his a$$ kicked.

I play golf once in a while with both the sales and service manager from my local dealership, and I've heard the service manager tell a woman that she wasn't eligible for warranty repair and then tell her husband that "she must have misunderstood him, of course it's covered" when he came in to argue...

Who needs it! I just as soon upgrade when something breaks. Then again I do work in an auto shop. That being said, 44K miles 26K mine, on my truck and knock on wood haven't had anything happen yet. And beleive me, I am not gentle on it.

Think dodge warranty is bad, Try getting firestone to take back a defective tire.

Damn you guys for talking me out of trading for a caddy, Bet Cadillac dealers honor there warranty. And Could have done it before I did break something. Blah....

My boss has a Caddy, and he hasn't had to fight with them. They are pretty good about just repairing things with out the arguments, at least in his case. When you're paying for a "luxury" car, you should get the "luxury" treatment.

With the economy the way it is and auto sales down like they are (not to mention Chrysler being on the fringe of bankruptcy and on the selling block all the time), these companies should be kissing the a$$ of anybody who puts enough faith in them to buy a new vehicle.

I don't care if it's a $60k Caddy or a $15k 4 banger commuter, trying to beat people out of proper warranty service is NO WAY to earn customers back into the fold!!!
