The good thing about AZ is that there is no rust, ever. That's a definite plus.

As for a dash cover, I don't have one and I do okay. If you have a 50% tint on the windshield you'll do fine, and it doesn't affect your driving at night. I see the same, maybe a little less, but it isn't dangerous by any means. Tint laws are pretty loose here cause its so hot, if you can find someone to do it you can get away with 5% all the way around. Really keeps the car cooler and makes your air conditioning ICE cold.

Window tint is an absolute must! Make sure your tires are good too as the asphalt on the roads gets to be 1000 degrees and blow outs aren't uncommon. It is never a good thing to be stranded in the desert with a blow-out and it can stay in the 90's all night long no problem. I have a house in Lake Havasu City and I am always back and fourth from there to my home in L.A. The remote start on my 08 is a lifesaver in the summer! If your Viper doesn't have remote start, you might look into the cost of adding it. Good luck on your move and drink lots of water! 102 is nothing. 115-120 now that's hot!
