Muffler choices?
So, I have read the polls, I am thinking Flowmaster 40 series. I dont care about Rust, in central TX.
My idea, just for the moment. Unbolt the stock HUGE muffler and use a flow master 40 series. Then take the 2 resinators off later, If i want it louder.
What inlet outlet will I need? Isnt it 3'' and 2.5''

This is just my opinion. I just junked my flowmaster for one reason. It is restrictive. I bought a New 4" round magnaflow magnapak for $59 on ebay. Its as loud as the Flowmaster 40 series at idle and way louder at WOT. Magnaflows have a straight through design so there is no restriction and have a deeper throaty tone. I love my magnaflow and i will never go back to a flowmaster.

with the repeated questions of magnaflow vs. flowmaster ive come to feel cheap and stupid, seeing post after post saying that flowmaster is garbage compared to the magnaflow, you all have finally broken me down to spend money, i went yesterday to get the magnaflow with the built in x-pipe and it will be installed when the free time comes.
