Default Tow Hooks on front!

I have a 07' Thunder Road (big horn) 4x4 quad SLT. I want to put tow hooks on front. Is it simply removing that black panel and bolting hooks down or do I need to do some major ****?

No it's a pretty simple install IF you get the ones made for a 1500 that are the bar type. Only downside is that it's like $160!

Anything cheaper would need some fabrication...

If you need a bar style tow hook setup let me know. I got one around here somewhere.

You need to reomove the bumper to bolt the towbar hooks in place.

2002-2005 is different than 06-08, otherwise I'd be fighting over it.

You don't have to remove the bumper, but you have to remove the bolts. You can hold the bumper in place with a couple of big C-Clamps to do it. I did my grille guard by myself with that method.
Used the same for Pyro's grille guard too. Even though he was there, y'all know how much help he is... LMAO!!!

Forgive me for my ignorance, but are you talking about the bolts that hold the bumper on? If so...LMFAO..Your hilarious.
I've just heard from every member that you had to remove it, I wasn't going on experience.

Yes, the bolts that hold the bumper on, and a couple of big C-Clamps will hold the bumper perfectly in place so you can mount the hooks and replace the bolts. So the bumper doesn't need to come off and one person can do the install...

My bumper has a plastic piece in the area where the tow hooks would stick out...is that easy to remove or do you need to cut it out?
