Should I level it or put a 3inch body lift?

that is true, but he did not specify what clearance he wanted and did not say for larger tires.

and a suspension lift or level with the same size tires increases ground clearance?

Yes in the front, A lift or level will raise the truck and give you more ground clearance under the oil pan and Trans.

Ah, AT THE OIL PAN AND TRANS.... That I'll give you, but what about at the hub which was the lowest point to start with?

I know I'm splitting hairs, but technically the ONLY way to increase over-all ground clearance is to increase tire size...

Yes that is true. Thanks Hammer I was not trying to argue with you but I know when I leveled my truck I gained center and bumper ground clearance, It was really noticeable with the grill guard I have on before lifting the front it was only about 4-5 inches from the road now the bottom is close to 7-8 of the ground.

So to review...Bigger tires for ground clearence. Cheapest way to get there is to Level, which allows for 35s. Just so you know the stock 275/60/R20 is a 33" tire.
