Question Should I level it or put a 3inch body lift?

I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT. I like how Dodge's sit stock but I want alittle more clearance. Which would look better a leveling kit or a 3inch body lift?

If you like the "rake" look of a stock truck, then do JUST the body lift, will lift the front and back the same 3".

A level kit will do just that, level the front with the back...

With this type or I should say year of truck. There are two ways too level. first is to go on top of the strut support and raise it there, second is bilstiens 5100's You get lifetime shock and a 2inch level max. You have a choice there . they are set at stock hieght 1/2inch 1 in ,1 an 1/2 and 2in These are rounded off numbers btw. I went with the bilstiens and am very happy with them. good luck.u can get rancho as well , but I am not familiar with those. this type of work requires a full assortment of h-d tools, it's not a driveway job, but it can be done. i farmed mine out, it was well worth it.

That's all well and good, Rocket, but he stated "I like how Dodges sit stock", so therefore a body lift will give more clearance WITHOUT changing the stance...

Oh yeah, but an o7 is looking at a bouncy ride right about now. With both he could be styling, and still have the rake. We both know about the oem shocks. After 30 k there pretty much shot. Thats why there is a shortage on those type of shocks. imo. lotta trucks and no supply. but I could be wrong.

if you want more ground clearance a body lift is not going to change that.

Sure it will... The way to gain ground clearance is with larger diameter tires. Any change that will clear larger tires will improve ground clearance...
