I should have took pictures through out the process but didnt really think it was going to turn out as good and had thought i was going to have to redo it anyway but what i did was open the vents and take small pieces of 3M painters tape and taped up the vent control. then i used some 1 1/4 tape and cut it straight with a razor blade just laid it on top of the open vents. I got it close enough to the edges of the vent where it wouldnt touch but would still keep overspray from getting in. I actually will still have to tape it back up when i go to clear it so i will try to get some pictures on how i taped it up.
I like the real wood look also, but the factory attempt isn't so great. Your paint job looks good...matching the exterior was a nice touch. Now on to other parts?
