This is a pic of mine. I do agree with draco tho it is a bit in the way of the obdII port. I have to move mine whenever i scan or tune my truck but since its only in with the one screw i just turn it out of the way.
P.S. sorry for the crappy cell phone pic. The wife has my freakin camera in her purse all the time and shes at work.

I'm getting a PRIMUS brake controller installed with my 5th wheel hitch tomorrow.

I'm going for the Right Side under dash install location.

You think by now these could be small enough to mount in a pod pillar.

Here is the install location. Not as cramped as I thought it would be.

This is where I put mine. I was lucky, the brake controller fit in there just right, and still has enough room next to it to hold a couple CD's.

I am getting ready to install a controller in my (new to me) 2002 Quad Cab. I selected the single screw on next to the e-brake, glad to see confirmation to this location.

I have had problems in the past slicing into the brake wiring for the controller
Any advise of wiring?

New to the site, stumbled in here while searching for help on the wiring.

mine is set up like Nuss's....

fwiw though, it's a good idea to practice getting to that thing.... seriously- when the adrenaline hits, and your brain is processing about 50 things at once, muscle memory is a VERY nice thing to rely on...

don't ask me how I know this, just trust what I'm saying.. errrr..
