I got the extreme and love it, not too loud and there isnt really much drone, if i have the radio up at a normal volume i can barely hear it and if the radios playing louder u cant hear the exhaust at all but the two 12's i have are also key factors. I have a post u can look for in my profile that has a video of mine when it was installed.

In straight out dB level, the Extreme is very close to Glasspacks. I will add that my Extreme is much mellower than my Flowmaster 50HD was at idle, it "wakes up" A LOT MORE when you get on the gas!!!

The Pro is a nice muffler too, but doesn't flow quite as well as the Extreme. If you want just a hair quieter than the Extreme but maintain that 500 cfm + of flow rate, then maybe look at the Vortex...

I've got the CB Vortex and I love it. But I left the pre-resonator on. More of a growl than a roar, but at WOT you definately can hear me coming down the road.

end up putting on CB extreme tonight... its pretty darn loud.. def louder than the glasspack i had on there... tho the extreme in 2.5 in, dual 2.25 out with no tips currently on it & dummped before the bed starts.. will putting turn down tips quiet it up just a bit? ive also considered out the passenager side in front of the rear tire or maybe running duals out the back

Oh hell, I'd imagine it is loud being dumped before the bed! Mine exits behind the rear bumper and it's loud. I don't think turn downs will quiet it down much, not in the same location. I've heard them when they exit the side, in front of the rear wheels and it's still a bit louder than mine...

I used to have the cherry bomb extreme with a side exit before the passenger rear tire. That sucker was loud. IMO when i dumped it, that quieted it down. I had the exhaust shop move it back as far as they could before i dumped it so i think that had a lot to do with it. The idle seems slightly louder now though
