i know many don't like the chrome door handles on the ram but i do really only like them if the truck is white like mine. here is a pic of my truck. kinda want to have the chrome handles instead of the stock black, i think it would compliment the wheels and front. would the chrome look good with my setup. i think the black sticks out more. i've ready many use putco but have seen others on ebay for half the price. do you think the others on ebay are junk or should i opt for the putco brand? anybody use the ebay type and can chime in. thanks. only have had the truck for about a month now so haven't done anything but enjoy driving it. thanks all

 

most of those sold on ebay are putco.

Ive got the metal ones on my truck if it makes any difference. Ive had them for years and never an issue.

 

what about painting your handles and mirrors to match the truck ?

 

i do want to paint them white eventually, but i don't have the time to do that just quite yet and it would more than i have at this time. i've seen ebay ones ranging from $40 up to $80. was wondering if the cheap ones would hold me over for awhile before i can get em painted. hey weedahoe, what brand did u go with??

 

I bought a set of 4 from Amazon.com for under $25. They are chrome plastic like the Putco ones. I haven't installed them yet but they test fitted nicely.

 

I had the putco brand for three years no problems...paid $100 I think

 

Hey lxman1, which brand did you get from amazon?? do you have a link ??? thats a good price to hold me over for awhile.

 

If color matching is what you are looking for then can't you save your money towards your goal and just cope with what you have? Somethings are worth waiting for. Not that chrome handles are bad or anything but that is good $$ that can go towards what you really want.

 

I just recently p\purchased the ones through ebay.No name brand on the packaging.Fitment was good.Looks great.Got all 4 and the tailgate one for $39 + free shipping.Should hold you over.No sense in spending big dollars if your going to change it around later.Here the link
