Default Couple recent mods w/ pics.

New sony HU. I can still use my steering wheel controls and it plays mp3, thumb drives, cd etc


painted diff. cap


New subs/amp i picked up off CL. (2- 12's) modified the box to fit the amp


Some better tail lights.

nice mods...are you running a capacitor on that setup. I'm running 2 1000watt rockfords w/ no capacitor and at night w/ music up my headlights dim w/ the bass??. I never had that problem w/ same setup in my last vehicle.

I don't have a capacitor...my lights do the same thing though!

did you have to raise your seats?


I've got a 1.5 farad cap for 600W amp and i get no dimming and it will benefit everything in your electrical system
rule of thumb 1 farad for 1000W
so i'm a bit over kill lol

No I did not. I am thinking about putting something around the subs for the seats to sit on but for now they barely touch. Is there a way to raise the seat a little?

ya you can raise them about an 1.5 inchs by unbolting them and sliding a 1.5 inch steel plate under the seat mounts, steel is best but i think MDF will do
