Post Headlight painting

Hey all looking for your thoughts on the color of the paint job im gonna put on my head light plastics. Stock color is a Dark Red with a metallic look. This is a factory paint color.

Should i go with the factory RED or paint them Black? Any suggestions will be helpful, even if it's not one of the two colors i've listed i will consider it.

Will be uploading some photos soon of color and finished product when finished

honestly I think EVOs truck looks great with the color matched. Not too much more for the classy look ya know? Kinda like a new corvette

All depending on where you are going with the truck. If you are going to get black rims, black flares, black grille and black this or that then the black headlights would look good. If you are planning on color matching grille, handles, chrome handles or grille, etc then I think color match would look good

This is my real truck (just MMstar-ing you) lol this is Evos truck and his matched lights (i think your color). I like his lights but would have painted the amber reflector as well as the outer chrome ring that he didnt paint

Well at this point it's a blank slate and as we chat the badges are going into a brown bag for later reuse or sale depending how much i like with out.

I think their going red and maybe even parts of the grill will follow. Hopefully the photoshop of just the outside and cross of the grill being crome will look well. the rest i might color match.

BTW that's a kick *** ride you have and evo deff has a ride to envy

well if I were you I would just take in your grille, handles, and mirrors to get sprayed at the same time if you can swing that.

I love debadged trucks, so much cleaner. I dont know why dodge thinks more badges are better

and dont forget that you can buy match paint if you think you can swing painting it yourself. If you have a big air compressor go down to harbor freight and pick up a cheap gun and go buy some clear and match, and if not go to your local paint supply and get a spray can of clear for the grille and another for the handles/mirrors
