BFG allterain tires...
Or these http://www.yokohamatire.com/tires/geolandar_mt.aspx out of all 4 sets wich set would be the best? I figured you guys would be the ones to no.
IMO both are bargain priced, single purpose tires. A lot of guys have Kuhmos and like them, but they tend to wear fast on pavement.
The Yoko's are a good off-road tire, but are not a siped tire and even though they advertise a "rain channel" will NOT give good performance on wet pavement, hard packed snow or ice, although most better M/T tires don't do well in those situations.
For hauling and heavy pavement use you really want to stay away from a specialized off-road or mud tire. An aggressive A/T or more generalized M/T tire would be a better bet. Unless of course you are primarily pulling and these trucks of yours are NOT daily drivers, then it's a whole different ball game! Exactly how are you using your trucks?
If you are using your trucks on pavement as well then a hybrid tire might be a good choice for you, something with long wearing A/T characteristics but with aggressive M/T blocks. Dick Cepek FCIIs, Super Swamper M16s or Goodyear Duratracs might be worth a look. (yeah, I know I said I'm not a Goodyear fan, but the Duratracs are not a Wrangler type tread and many guys swear by 'em).
If you are primarily "pulling at the fairs" then you need to be thinking along the lines of Super Swamper Boggers, Mickey Thompson Baja Claws or Nitto Mud Grapplers. These tires will "hook up" as well as any tire on the planet, but the sacrifice here is quality on the pavement...

Well I can't speak from experience cause I don't pull at fairs, but around the farms among the boys who pull a lot of weight in the fields and use their trucks as daily drivers as well, there is a lot of positive talk for the Mickey MTZs and the Toyo Open Country M/Ts.

If it was me, the Mickey MTZs, but I'd never fault anybody for buying the Toyo's (or Nitto Trail Grappler, which is basically a clone of the Toyo MT) either.
Be aware these are PREMIUM tires and cost like it. However, I've never had a set of Mickey Thompson/Dick Cepek tires wear out before I've sold the vehicle it was on. My 2nd Gen had a set of the Mickey MTXs (which preceded the MTZs ) that had PLENTY of tread left after 68k miles!
IMO the Mickeys would hook up a bit better than the Toyos and probably last a bit longer, however will be loud compared to the Toyos. Both are considered a good street performer (for an aggressive M/T tire)...
