negative on the spacers under the spring, the spring is designed to sit in a recessed are and there is no way to seat the spring evenly. They look pretty flimsy to me

The cast aluminum ones look like a joke too...if you look at the bottom they say it only fits up to an 01 ram...and that its only 1in but gives 2in of lift

I bought 2.5in spacers and got around that, maybe a little less. I cant see how they think their spacers are going to give double their size? also, they will be louder and clink on bumps sometimes

just get on fatbobsgarage and order 2in spacers....2.5 are too tall and I will probably remove my 2.5 and put in a 2in when I get the 6in lift next spring

Just like Matt said. No go on those man. Just get some spacers for the top in the 2" size. Real easy.

ok. i really wasn't going to get them. but i just wanted to see what the heck they were. well im debating between the daystar 1.5" spacers and the fatbobs 2" spacers now??? all i've read is that 2" or more you start having clearance with uca problems??? would it be better to get the daystar's 1.5" ones and use the stock isolater on top of it? those who are using the fatbobs 2", are you putting the stock isolater on top of those or no? if not, i would think the daystar with the stock isolater might get pretty close to that of the 2" with no isolater?? daystars would be like half the price and i would still need shocks right? i have a 06 2wd so im sure i have the strut frontend

Fatbobs actually sells daystar spacers. You dont have the strut front end, you have the traditional coil spring setup (only 4x4s have struts)

You will want as close to 2in as possible...Id rather just spend a little more and have the 2in spacer rather than build a 2in out of other stuff, but its your call...I have UCA and spring bucket contact, but they told me that with only 2in you do not. Numerous people have done 2in and not had the problem so I would say dont go over that.

And I believe we decided that stock length shocks were a better bet, as we all bought 2in longer and are having slight problems, so maybe if we bought stock length it would work. I would leave your stockers in cause you wouldnt be out any money and then buy longer ones if you end up needing them

I have heard that 06 and up benefit from having the stock length shock. I believe it was found out that on 06 and up's the shock is actually the thing that limits over extension on the suspension. Go with the 2" and stock shocks, just like murdered Matt said.

i thought my 06 2wd was the same setup as the 07 and 08 2wd setup?? isn't a "strut" just the coil spring with the shock installed inside?? isn't that how mine is?
