Theres a guy at my work that has a chevy, maybe like an 03-04, 1500. His tailgate has Chevrolet written in embossed letters on it. Has anyone seen anything like this for a Dodge, and if so where would be the best place to look. I've tried searching all the normal sites i use for parts and haven't found anything, im starting to wonder if I would have to get it custom made.

 

You can have the stickers made at any sign shop.

 

His wasn't a sticker...it was pressed into the metal

yea some of the chevys came with them I think...my buddy had it and wasnt into modding

Ive never seen a dodge with that (newer styles) and I cant see liking it, but your best bet would be to vinyl letter it I think

 

I'm pretty sure the chevys are just decals. It's the work trucks that have them.

 

no the chevys that he is talking about have CHEVROLET stamped in the tailgate sheet metal in 6in letters across the middle of the tailgate

 

Yupp my old chevy had the chrome plate across the tailgate with chevrolet letters acroos it but if you took that chrome piece underneath it had it pressed right into the metal like this DSC04138.jpg&t=1
