Default My New K&N Intake Installed today!

So I finnaly have My new K&N Intake Installed. Its deff a pain to Install. But its on and omg the difference. I had a ebay intake on before and the K&N Is amazing. So much faster and sounds mean. Now I spin my tires not even meaning too. Plus i knew the guy at the shop so I got it at cost for only 240 brand new. Now pics pics pics

I had an ebay one. Just the chrome pipe and filter. Thats all. Not bad for 40 but deff the K&N is better.

Very nice.....is it somewhat protected from the bottom? Meaning, shielded from water?

Here's a picture of my older K&N-77 model. I like yours better with the bigger filter. I had to remove the inter-fender well to mount it. PIA!

Nice! Just put the same one on my truck too, im loving it and it sounds sweet.

The heat shield is pretty awesome the way its designed it looks like it would keep water from getting near the filter. Also the way it mounts, it sits on top of where the old air box used to be.

Why did you not install the brace in the center of the intake tube? Does it rattle around a lot without it?

240 isnt cheap but it does look good.

I've got the K&N 77, have had it since the summer of '04 (din't know how easy it was to build one then. I've now built over a half dozen for others).

I do like the heat shield (same as mine) and really like the newer filter with slightly more surface area.

Your "butt dyno" must be finer calibrated than mine though. Mine doesn't register an increase of about 5 HP at the rear wheels. LMAO...
