Default Gears? Worth it?

I have a 2007 dodge 1500 4x4
Its lifted with 37s on 20s.
I have a superchip and cold air intake with full dual exhaust.
What ratio of gears should I get to get better MPG and is it even worth it?!?!?! If so where can I get them ordered from?
Thanks
Trent

What do you have now??

Guess it really doesn't matter, running 37's you shouldn't run anything less than 4.56's IMO. An upgrade is definitely needed.
Just remember, gears are a performance mod and you'll never recoup the cost in gas mileage.

Gears! Worth it!!!

If you have a 4x4 then 4.56s, a 4x2 then I'd consider 4.88s...

so worth it even if you arent running huge wheels....moes has great prices on full kits...and airram.com has some pretty good comparable prices too....

Worth it in what reference, mileage? It'll take a fair amount of time for any gas savings to offset the $1,500 or so it'll take to swap gears.

i have a 2wd and i did it for more grunt, and faster acceleration i wasnt looking to save gas i needed new ones anyway so i went with 4.56's and on the bright side i saved a few mpgs anyway im wasn't looking to offset the cost....

i've been wondering the same. i have an 06 2wd with the hemi and 3.92 gears. if i went to either 34's or 35's (leaning more towards the 275/65/20 (34") tire), is it even worth it for me. im 99% onroad since its only 2wd for me. what do you think?

Thanks a bunch! I will def get the 4.56's for it. Im getting 14.8 on the highway with 37s so i cant complain but I was getting around 20 when it was on stock tires with 20s. If I can get back to 17 or 18 I will be stoked.
