recon tail light fitment issues
just installed my new recon smoke led tail lights on my 07 tonight, sorry no pics at the moment. Absolutely love the look of them, they totally change the look of the truck, especially on black. On the other hand, the fitment of the lenses isn't the best, about 1/4"gap around the bottom half of the lense. I have read a few guys had this problem, is there an easy fix to it? Thought someone shimmed one of the metal posts off the tail light to get it closer, but i don't think that would work. I know it's not easy to give advice without pics to see what i'm talking about, but hoping someone with the recons will chime in with an easy solution
02-06 style but my Sonar LED's have the same amount of gap on the drivers side. Switched out its post with my stockers and still no difference. Going to remove them soon for tinted oems or LED Depot's. Depending on the LED model it seems that Recon and Sonar are very much identical in design.
I would be willing to trade mine for good quality tinted oems.

will try to post pics tomorrow, it's dark out so i wouldn't be able to get a good pic of the fitment problem i have. I'm not too worried about it right now, the lenses look fantastic anyways and so far very happy

no problem, they are very nice lenses. Other than fitment not being 100% the best, they seem very high quality. Make sure if u want led reverse bulbs, to order those also through recon. The tail light description says they don't come with reverse bulbs, figured i could just use my stockers, but they aren't the same style bulb. Just ordered the right led reverse bulbs from recon last night. $300 set of tail lights and they don't come with reverse bulbs WTF!!!
