I'm not a big fan of the glasspacks, but a cherrybomb x-treme sounds very good on a Chev 350. Almost straight-pipe loud but tones down the worst crackle a bit.

However, a cutout for $200 is what I run. Flip a switch and it's loud, flip it again and its quiet. Great for long trips on the highway when the drone would drive you insane. Easy to install too. Check out dmhperformance.com for a cutout

no one can tell you what is best. they can only tell you whats out there. find some sound clips online to figure out what sound you like best. are you going for just sound? or do you want performance?

get a tuner and disable the mds. any louder than stock exhaust is gonna be very noticeable when you cut 4 cylindars. you'll get better mileage without mds anyways -- that was a marketing ploy that doesnt actually do anything.

4 cyl have to work extra hard just to keep it moving. 8 cyl work much less hard, which will burn less fuel.

I've got one and love it. Deep rumble - no cackle.

Go with the thrush....little drone at highway speeds and sounds awsome. And get the MDS disabled cause any system will sound like crap with it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BpYnn551t3o
