2006 Factory NAV bezel
I'll have to get under the dash and see what the connector looks like......the driver' headrest runs down to the passenger floor, where the passenger ones comes as well, those both go into a "Y" and then the single line goes up under the dash.....the plug at the "Y" that they go in is shaped like a "D"
Hopefully under the dash it's a normal plug in, like what goes into a MP3 player. I'll just have to tear it down one day

Id just get a nice dvd head unit, there are small screened ones that are cheaper and more like a normal radio, flip outs that fit in the same slot as your stock head unit, and double dins with the nice factory look that require the aforementioned navigation bezel.
all of the above will put out video to the two dvd screens (which are not stock) and most newer ones have dual zone to where you could listen to the radio up front

Has anyone that has installed an aftermarket NAV had any problems with it fitting without having to cut anything out? I was told by crutchfield that I would most likely have to do some modifications behind the radio because I might have a problem with the depth of the opening...any thoughts?
I would also go with a DVD head unit...looks cleaner since all the wires would be ran behind the dash and under the carpet to the bottom of the seats.

ive never heard of anyone cutting behind the dash. Theres quite a bit of room back there. I had a SUPER deep DVD player fit fine in there. I did have to cut a guys chevy installing one, but we have more room
Damn Ebay and dealerships...no one can tell me the part number of the bezel that will match my dash and NOT be woodgrain around the radio. My specs say I have Med Slate Gray. Does anyone have a pic of their dash with a NAV bezel that doesn't have the woodgrain with gray interior?

Nav has nothing to do with depth. it has to do with programming. My Pioneer in the pic above is a Navigation/DVD player. There's lots of room. No cutting needed. Crutchfield people are just book readers, not techs. I've had my radio in/out over 20times. There's lots of room. Stop listening to people who tell you they won't fit. OEM Navigation is double din. Nothing gets larger than that! Most aftermarket units like my Pioneer are only din-1/2 which is slightly smaller in height. Width is all the same.
The silver trim is all that is available with the interior color if you dont want woodgrain.
HERE
and
HERE Both have MOPAR part numbers for you.
There's light gray, dark gray, khacki all 3 of which have the silver interior face. And then there is woodgrain. That's it!

I just ordered 1CP581DHAB from the dealer. After looking thru their parts book it seemed to be the closest I could find but will see when I pick it up later. I plan to install over the weekend so I'll try and do a write up on it in case it could help anyone else out there. I know swapping out a stereo is no big deal but it still might help the few people out there that have questions.
