Default New shocks

Just installed some Monroe Reflex shocks and i was a little worried that they were gonna be a little too soft but after a little test drive i like them. The truck feels alot more hooked up to the road. Just my little review for those thinking about changing out there stock shocks at some point. I also ordered a cat back exhaust system today(American Thunder 50 HD Flowmasters) should have them in a few days i will let ya'll know my opinion of those when i put them in(pics).Just a little FYI for everyone Streetsideauto.com is offering some pretty sweet deals right now got my exhaust delivered for $395.00(no tax no delivery charge and discounts based on what you spend)

good call, I was actually going to ask what people experience has been with which shocks they have used over stockers, to increase the quality of the ride. Im sure your gonna be sounding good when you get that muffler hooked up. I went down to pepboys and dropped 60 bones for a cherrybomb extreme and another 40 to have it weilded on. I love it

Ya i'm sure there's better ones and more expensive ones but if your looking for a pretty decent affordable replacement for your stock ones these a pretty good.

That's what I plan to use when the time comes (still on the OEMs @ 108K).

why did you choose that shock? I've been trying to decide from the reflex, sensa-trac, and the gas magnum. i will have to wait now till the snow melts to loosen the rusty minnesota bolts.

Just read that the sensatrac was softer than the reflex and i didn't want that but i didn't want it to be too stiff either. Like i said just a good shock at a decent price. Couldn't believe how cheesey the stock ones were.

I put on Moog lower ball joints and Monroe Sensa Trac shocks all the way around. Boy, did it make a huge difference. I like the ST's just fine. I don't do a lot of towing, but when I do, they work well.
