well i just bought a 2002 dodge ram 1500 4wd and im ready to lift i i've been looking at many kits and things but need some help 2 decide on which also what do yall think of the full throttle 10'' lift also looked at the skyjacker 6'' system any suggestions would be great thanks
How much money do you have to blow? Either way i assume you also are going to get bigger tires being on a 6" and especially a 10" the stock tires will not look right.
And which would YOU rather have? Six inch or ten inch?

That's a huge tire and asking quite a bit from the 1500 front suspension. You can count on broken and worn down parts going anything larger than 35/36"
Also, what gears do you have? 3:55's? You'll be hating the truck because it'll be an absolute dog with those gears and that tall of a tire.
Just some thing to keep in mind.
If you want 38s you should have bought a truck with a solid front axle (2500), I hope you know how to change out a broken CV shaft in the field, LOL...

LOL I've even heard of parts breaking on the street with 35's on these trucks. I always have the tools and a spare CV shaft when I'm offroad

It really depends on how the lift you choose deals with the CVs. Some **** them at really bad angles, which just begs for a failure. Yeah, most front end components will wear faster with 35's, but if the CV angle is at or close to stock, the CVs usually won't have a catastrophic failure...

Well sounds like to me you need to start saving up a lot of money. You want to do a good lift, tires and gears. I remember those days. It will look good afterwards though
