Oh but to answer your question yes, it is a direct bolt on. Anyone with a 06-08 truck ever put a 02-05 front on it? That would be different indeed.

 

There have been a few people who have done it but like I said, for the cost, I wouldnt unless it was dirt cheap or given to me.

 

The SRT bumper is what's going to kill the cost. The 06 bumper is about 3 times the price of an 02-05 srt bumper. You can get them online for around $1k i think the dealer is around $1200-$1400. If you want to convert it to an 06+ sport you'll save quite a bit.

 

The rewards when done right is amazing.

Fellow AZ ram owner slvrmagnum did this many years ago and i recall it was very involved in getting the parts. Even with a dealership hookup the parts were $$$$$$
