Do a search on here, also check the FAQ section.
I would not get the bully dog for a hemi. I would go with either a Diablo Sport Predator/Trinity or Superchips 3865. Do a search, check the FAQ section and read through the sticky's for both the SC and Diablo, all of your questions and then some will be answered.

From what ive seen on here its best to go with the superchip if your not going to add anything major to your truck. Do you agree? I have exhaust and an intake, all im looking for now is a programmer.
I will say that in my opinion you cannot go wrong with either SC or Diablo. I have ran both. The SC has better trans options, especially if you purchase the advance trans tuning (extra $40 on top of the programmer). But the Diablo has a little stronger performance tune (engine hp wise). If you think you may ever do a cam swap, or even add headers, the Diablo has the ability to get a custom tune (extra $$$$) to get the most out of the mods on your truck. Also, you have an '05 so you will have trans tuning with diablo, just not quite as good as SC's, but a major improvement over stock.
That being said, some people have had issues with Diablo and some people have not had good experiences with their customer service. I had one small issues with my trinity (self induced, I tried to load a predator crom on it
) and called and got to talk to a tech within 5 minutes and they walked me through everything.

Just follow the instructions on the screen. If you get stuck or have questions look on here. Also, be patient. The first time you install a tune, it save the stock tune so it takes a little while.
If you get the advanced trans tuning, then you have to load a tune, then update and purchase the advance tune with the SC connected to your computer. Then you can change your shift points. If you look in the SC sticky you will find a link to a bunch of shift schedules. Pick on and adjust from there. (you need MS Excel to view them).

I have been quite satisfied with the Superchips flashpaq (#3815), that I have had for a little over three years now, on my 2005 2500 HEMI.

The GUI setups on both SC and Diablo are pretty idiot proof. They make simple changes so dont be scared to get into it. With an 05 you can do either SC or Diablo and get trans controls. A Diablo is good for custom tuning on a stock engine or modified so it just depends on what you want now or later down the road. Custom tuning cost more though.
