Talking Seamless hood scoop pix

Heres a few pix, I need a new paint job on the front and scoop as a whole btw. but At least it has the look I'm looking for

rtv gasket, applied a small bead, and wet wiped with my finger.

looks great! my truck is red the do make red dont they **** im going to try that.

rocket, it really doesn't cover the seam...at all...lol, well the top part I suppose it does.
I hope it looks good in person cuz there aint nothing taking that off other than a scraper and your fingers. There is no chemical that is safe for your paint that will remove the sealant.
Also, just so you know for future use, rtv/silicone sealant has acetic acid in it which absorbs moisture and can be very corrosive, so just don't ever use the stuff on bare metal. Should be fine on your paint although it may etch after a while.
Good job on the consistentcy of the seam btw. Just did my tub and OMG I had to use every finger on both hands to get a clean seam..lmao

What a crappy looking day out in the pic. :-(

the stuff I used is available in blue,orange and black. It cannot be painted, cuz it has silicone. making painting it red impossible. (it wont stick).
Yeah dd, but it actually lessoned the ''seam'' that was there. Yeah up close, it's obvious. but casual on lookers will never know the difference. Yes I agree crappy day for pix.......

Eraser wheel on an electric drill will take it off if you ever need to.

Here are some updated pix, I can wait till the warmer weather now, Notice how the edges are cleaned up. Now all I need do is sand and polish.I hope.
