Ouch!! j/k. Well, I had some junk tires on my Dakota (can't even remember the name...they were some sort of knock offs) and they were crap! even the slightest wet pavement I would be slipping all over the place. But, this is only my second truck in my lifetime, so I don't have too much experience with truck tires. The HP's were def an improvement over the other ones I had, though.

thats what i thought. Mainly the people who say they are good or were good or w/e havent had a decent set of tires. Im not one to diss everything dodge did or does but I am quick to say that the tires they stick on their trucks are not even close to good. I had a blowout at 13k and two were cupping at 30. The only one that wasnt bad was the spare according to my tire guy.

I have never owned a car that was a daily driver, so all I have had was truck tires to buy. I see more Goodyear Wrangler HPs on craiglist than any other tire.

So what your saying is that I'll be buying a new set of tires pretty soon? FML.

I cant tell you anything about them case by case. 99% of people say that they suck, but then you have some oddball that comes on and says I GOT 1 MILLION MILES. Safety comes first, and once mine started letting the rear end loose around wet turns I had to get new ones

Another vote for HP's sucking. Mine (stock tires) have about 25k on them and are cupped so badly that the whole truck vibrates at 60 mph. Any slower it is ok, and any faster it is ok, but right at 60 it's no good. I have to rotate them like crazy in order to keep them from getting too bad. I will be getting new tires very soon when funds permit. Goodyear HP's are a joke. I will likely go with Bridgestone A/T's

You'll find that with every new truck unfortunately...Except for the new Fords that come with top of the line Michelins on them.

Oh get back to your side of the forum, punk

And that is not true, the power wagons come from the factory with a nice set of tires.

With very few exceptions tires can vary on the same truck from the mfg. I have owned 10 new Dodge and GM trucks, and one piece of crap Toyota, since 1988. My Brother has owned 5 new Ford trucks in the same approx time( I change much faster than he does ). While most have had GY's on them it was not all of them.

I had 2 Rams come OE with Michelin LTX M+S tires and one had Yokohama tires( Ram 50 ). I had a GM come with Bridgestone Dueler AT's( D693 as I recall ), and the Toyota( Tacoma )had Dunlop Grand Trek AT20's. My Brother's Fords have had GY's, Firestone, and BF Goodrich tires come stock.

Goodforayears definitely are the most used OE tire but they are not always used.
