finally pic of my truck
I really like the look of the truck. But I would be careful getting larger tires. I think those 35's allow for a lot of fun off road. And they keep you from loosing a lot of power from jumping up to 40's
With that being said. I don't mind badges. But the ones on the hood just look out of place, just dont flow well.
And because he has done a lot (spent even more money
) of work on the performance side of things.

No wonder why that thing has 0-60's of a LS1 Camaro! haha

thanks for all of your input. But as for the badges I like the hood badges no one else has them, they are not comming off. And second I do not take my truck off road so everyone saying that I am going to destroy my cv joints by putting 37 or 38's on the truck is that still true. I know over trucks that have larger tires than 35's that are on 1500's. Let me know.
I do know one person who lost a CV on a 1500 Ram who doesn't off-road who was running 37s. He actually lost it while on vacation and it basically ruined his family trip that year.
Obviously, the odds of having a major failure would be less if you are a pavement queen. I know many guys who have run 37s for a while and other than a ball joint and tie rod replacement have never had a problem. But I think the other big negative is the kit you have now. For some reason Fabtech kit owners report a higher rate of CV failure even with just 35" tires, so bigger is probably even worse. I know AF_Hemi has changed two bad ones so far and he's only running 35s on his 6" Fabtech lift and he doesn't hard-core off-road.
I'd just plan on keeping tabs on them and also plan on more frequent inspections and replacement of most front end suspension components which will wear much faster from the force/weight of the wheel/tire combination.
It's your truck and your money. Do to it what you want. Nobody here has an agenda against your going to 38" or 40" tires. This is just a common weakness with IFS trucks that guys who off-road or frequent truck forums know about. Nobody wants to see you spend big bucks on more lift and larger tires just to have major issues which are very much within the realm of possibility...
