Heres my truck 2004 1500 4x4 hemi with 6 inch fabtech and 3 inch pa body lift with 35 nitto mud grapplers on 20 inch rock stars. I want to get 38's or 40's next The pictuers are not the best will put more on later this week.

I kinda like the badges I was thinking of removing them and then getting them black matte powder coated

 

Im a debadged guy but like you said, you could paint them black. If I were you, I would just spray paint them. The matte powder coat would not look any better, and the only advantage would be for them to last a little longer.
