Default Tires and Lift Kit Help

Im looking to do a budget build up for my 08 Hemi Ram. I was thinking of doing a 4inch lift and was also looking to throw some beefier tires under as well. However keeping in mind this is a budget build so I will be keeping the stock rims (for now at least). Does anyone have any suggestions as to what looks good and or links where to find this stuff? Also what type of price range would i be looking at? Im assuming $1,200 for tires? I have seen some really sick trucks on here so any help is appreciated.

The best all around truck tire right now would be the cooper zeon ltz. it looks great and performs well off road and on. if fact i got into some mud the other might that i know for a fact my old goodyears would not have gotten me out of, but the coopers did great. they were 900 out the door by the way. Then if your goin just for looks then i would have to say the nitto mud grappler looks sick. best looking tire ever in my opinion. i shopped around for 3 months b4 i bought tires and i have found the best thing to do is get on google and find out what they look like on your truck.

i just got rid of my zeons, didnt like them. Decent in snow, but not great. I didn't want to do another winter with them. They would spin out in wet conditions as well, and I only had them for about 10k miles. I got pro comp xtreme terrain m/t, and much happier. If you are looking for a beefy looking tire get an m/t. Nitto trail grapplers are super aggressive. If you got a 20 inch wheel, the tires are much more expensive than 17 or 18.

Just remember if you are on a budget that on average a mud terrain tire will not last near as long as an all terrain tire.

If it's a budget build up you could save a lot of money by going for a leveling kit and a body lift w/35's. If you do it all yourself you'll spend about $400-$500 on the body lift and level.

"rimzone" is an ebay seller with some great prices. for $1200 you could pick up wheels and tires. as for the lift, level and add-a-leafs? thats like $3-400 but only 2-2.5"
