Flowmaster Failed after only 4 years!
They dont call'em "rustmasters" for nothing! Ive run FM's on just about everything Ive owned, from my lil Mighty Max lowrider to my Jeep GC, Blazer, F150, and now both my Ram and Durango. Haven't ever had a problem out of any of them, so far.
That said, Im really wanting to swap out the FM for a CB on the ram, but I guess I have to wait for the FM to rust out first..... Only have one more year I guess!
Edit: If anyone is hellbent on Flowmasters tones that they provide, MAC is very very close to FM, sound-wise, and they are a little cheaper too. I ran a set of MACs on my Mustang, sounded great, just like any mustang Ive ever heard with a flowmaster (which is A LOT)

These figures mean nothing - its like measuring power with a yardstick - its the wrong measuring device. Use the dyno and mileage figures that are posted on line. Flowbenches work great for measuring intake, carbs, cylinder head flow but not for exhaust. Exhaust, due to the dynamics of a four cycle engine, is a pulse, not a direct flow. This is why a chambered muffler can increase power. Its a matter of physics proven on the dyno.
Lecrit - Magnaflows are of a "straight through" design so I would have to say that they flow very well. More about them can be found at Magnaflows website. I have felt a nice pickup in response it seems from the previous Flowmaster and I have friends in your area - so maybe you could hear my truck sometime. I have simply the muffler with the 3 inch in and dual 2.5 in out and the sound is perfect for me.
