yea that truck has a crazy mean stance, but thats just a ridiculous amount of work. If you couldnt do all of it yourself, you would be racking up enough labor hours (at $65/hour) to probably pay for the trade in

You could use any length leaf spring you want. Longer springs will give you more flex
Is this going to be a weekend warrior offroad truck?

Personally I think that you should just trade or sell your truck and get the truck that you want.

Well I was barely able to get into this truck, and all the other 4 wheel drives were either way to much or one I didnt like. Besides my money and I can do what I want with it! lol I just want a project that shows it can be done and see how it would look.

I hate to be a little-goodie-two-shoe or a buzzkill, but are you thinking logically here? I mean, completely removing and replacing the drive train on a truck you have a note on and could "barely get into" sounds quite ignorant to me.

No not really. Why do most people by a 2 wheel and convert it to a 4wheel? Me, I didnt need a 4wheel drive but now im bored and want a project. Im already doin a 6.1 overhaul in my 5.7. Why not do a 4wheel conversion. Most likely goin with stock 4wheel drive train and just doin a leaf setup in front. Also thought about doin an air bag setup in the rear, maybe we'll see!

Well if you have time and money why not to make such project, hehe. But you asked public for opinion without telling that this is your borekilling project so that's why you were suggested to sell 2WD and buy 4WD
