2 wheel to 4 wheel conversion?
Make sure you have a way to get the 4 wheel ABS sensors working in the front.
After that, it's just weld up spring mounts, build a crossmember for the divorced t-case, bend brake lines, and figure out steering (crossover steering with a older 2wd steering box?) Gotta price out having driveshafts made too
Take lotsa pictures as ya build it up!

Yea I agree with Razorhawg. Besides what he said little parts could nickle and dime ya to death. On top of that it seems quite contradictory that you could barely get into this truck and yet you have the money for the 5.7 to 6.1 conversion and the conversion to 4 wheel drive.
I mean't barely gettin into the truck at the time I bought it. Im not saying im barely affording it now! Jeezoo guys I didnt ask why I wanted to do this, I ask if it has been done yet and what parts I can gett away with. I have a majority of the parts to do it with a 99 half ton sittin in the back yard, just need little stuff to finish it such as what spring packs, shock hoops, shocks, and steering componets. If u want to knock me for starting this project, go suck a pole. You dont have to read or respond to this.
