Here are a few way to find out:

1. Look in your glove box. There is probably a white sticker that will say the gear ratio.

2. If there is no sticker in the glovebox, sometimes there is a tag on the rear axle by the passenger side brakes that will indicate the ratio.

3. search on here, there is a website that you can request a build sheet and it will tell you the gear ratio and all options that your truck was built with.

4. Go to you dealer and ask for a build sheet.

5. Drive at a steady speed in overdrive on flat ground and see what your rpm is, then calculate your gear ratio.

IMO the build sheet is best because you get to find out everything else you have also

a quick way to find your gear ratio is to contact your nearest Dodge dealer, with year and last eight numbers of your vin and they can tell you anyting you need to know about your truck...........

It depends on the tire size you're planning to go with. 3.92 and 4.10 would be good for 35's. A lot of guys switch over to 4.56s for that extra jam
