Default Brake disc / pad combo any good ?

I am in Canada so shipping discs and pads from the states takes the price of the general recommendations too high.

Has anyone got experience with either of these products:-
ERP http://cgi.ebay.ca/Dodge-Ram-1500-20...item19c2bebeba

or Magnum http://cgi.ebay.ca/Dodge-Ram-1500-20...item35af7f4ec4

or Silverstone but I found a bad review somewehere http://cgi.ebay.ca/2002-2009-DODGE-R...item4155ed2be8

Any info, good or bad, greatly appreciated, otherwise I think I'll have to get the standard crap that warped in no time from new.

Thanks

Where in Canada are you? I'm on my phone and can't see your profile. I'm ordering a set soon and I live 20 minutes from the USA and can ship a second set to you from Vancouver.

I have the ones from ebay from the seller BrakeMotive like several others on here recommended. I only got the fronts though. They've only been on for a few weeks now but they are pretty good and reasonably priced.

I have friends that have used Brakemotive ... good prices and service. I bought my drilled/slotted rotors from my local parts store. I really like them and I'm glad I changed them out. But, I didn't have much luck with ceramic pads. They squealed like crazy whenever I was on a dusty road ... and it was hunting season! Changed them out to ThermoQuiet. That was 45k miles ago. Two weeks ago I decided to re-do my brakes front & rear. I had about 30% left in the front and 50% in the rear. Rotors looked great, but I went ahead and had them turned anyway, painted the calipers and put on new ThermoQuiets. Good for another 45k.

HouseApe,

That's a very generous offer, thanks very much.

The set for my 2008 should be these:-
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Drill...item43a4a66a90

I guess these guys, unlike some others, know their stuff but just in case the Dodge Part numbers are :
Front Pads 05143350AC
Front discs 52010080AE
Rear Pads 05080563AD
Rear Discs 52009968AD

I am in between Vernon and Kelowna so Westbank, Vernon or Kelowna will work for me if there is a cost difference for you.

I'll PM my address and payment details.

Thanks again.
