Again it all depends on what you have and where the powerband you want is. Picking the lope and lsa is one thing but there is more to picking a cam than that

You wont be able to run what I do for two reasons, one is my cam is set on 112 LSA and two, I have to be custom tuned to run that cam. Anything less than 114LSA requires tuning and that can only be successfully done on 04+

2003 for left out and thats why so many guys have issues with running cams >114 LSA

Now like i said, Im am getting ready to replace my PCM and harness with something newer. You could do like me and get mine or someone else 2004 PCM and harness and could then get custom tuned but you are adding to the mix and tuner like the Diablo U7137 ($250 +/-) and tuning itself which is another $250 plus the cost of a wide band which is another $150.

So it cost a lot overall to run a cam like that. If you want to make a road trip i can certainly help.

Mid range would start to build power around 2500-3000rpm and would continue to around 6000-6500rpm. If you do not have a way to get if into this range though via gears and possibly a stall then this is not a cam you want as it be tough to get it to the rpm range where you would take advantage of the added power.
