They're not oem if they are 410's

 

Cool. Far few and between in having OEM 4.10 gears put in a 2003 1500 by the dealership. Actually your the first for me.

My thoughts too. Maybe it originally had 3.xx and the dealership swapped them out.

 

loud or lope? get a cutout if you want loud. You don't want to sacrifice street manners and drivability over lope esp' with a 03.

I still go with weeds advice.

Your main issue with the lope is going to be tuning, 03's do not have the best tuning availible to get them to run a big cam with a lot of lope. One big reason is you cannot adjust the idle which you need to do to get it to run. If I were you, instead of doing the cam right now, I would get you a set of headers and a cutout and see how you like the sound, then try a cam on a 114lsa, you should get a decent lopey idle, no where near weeds, and a bit less than mine. If Silverbullit could post up an idle of his sidewinder I think you would be happy with it or something similar to it.
