Winch and home made hidden mount

damn that does look good! almost like the Power Wagons they offered with the winch.
and that winch article had me thinking of buying a harbor freight one.
one of the writer even said "...this winch was over-shadowed by the bigger named brands..., ...but this winch did not know when to call it quits..." <- quoted from memory. lol

My guess is your wife likes your to do list the same as mine does.
My next project is a removable truck crane to lift an 800 pound oryx into the Ram and to drag him 100 yards or so. I have all the materials and winch, now for some warm weather.

Good point. THANKS! I think I will fabricate some sort of bracket and mount it to the bumper. Something that looks good as well as being functional.

I made everything. I think the winch was 8500 pounds but now I'm drawing a blank for some reason. I should know what I put in my truck! :0
They periodically run specials. If it isnt there now wait a few weeks. You can also go to Chicago Electrics website.
