I was doing some research on chips and ran across this website and of course the white lightnin is one of the top scams. I new it was to good to be true.

My best possible solution to at least increase mpg is to open up the exhaust and air intake. any suggestions?

 

Haha these things are a joke. It is a $1 part from radioshack wrapped in a fancy plastic box. Use the search for powerwire. Weedahoe has an excellent video how to build one youself in less than 5 mins. $30 for that is a joke. I work in a plant that makes diodes resistors and thermistors for all applications especially automotive and we make the IAT sensors as well. I can tell you first hand its a scam. Everytime I see these selling and people buying them I laugh. But looks like your on the right track. Search for homebrew CAI or look into a k&n system and next get a nice magnaflow sido exhaust and you'll be set.
