? you guys just doing this for looks? i know the 6.1 and newer 5.7 have dual plugs on the coils but common same difference with a shorty wire right? out of curiosity how much did all that cost?

 

6.1 ignition conversion since im doing a 6.1 manifold. Also no shorties if i decide to spray.
Project is to give some deserved attention to the engine bay, but i prob' would not of done it if paying new prices.

She hit 112k recently and..well, even with the engine running strong she still is short of eye candy to the least lol. She deserves some piz·zazz!!!

Main parts are already on the way. Few more bits and pieces but it should come together at the end of the Month.

 

Gonna be nice man, I want to do the 6.1 intake manifold with a new set of BV heads eventually.

Here i thought it was only going to be a another cam swap.
The prices for the Inertia BV heads and COMPLETE 6.1 manifold conversion was just to good i had to ****** them up.

Now i just have to finish ordering some final cosmetic bits and pieces and then get everything painted and head to Mikes.

We are planning to do everything at once so it prob' going to be a all day/nighter.

 

Just let me know when man and I'll come by and lend a hand.

 

You picked up that 6.1 setup that was for sale over on HTC right? He has a really sweet deal for that price.

 

Yep that was me and i agree the price was too good to pass up, esp' the convenience of having everything ready and modified for the install.

I also picked up the Inertia Big Valve heads that were for sale on DT by 05_ram_1500. Another to good of a deal to pass up.
