Hey weed,


Do you by chance have any good top shots of the 6.1 Ignition setup?

Was looking at your thread made on DT and your gallery but could not find a good overview shot to see how much of a difference it made over the typical 5.7.

Would you be kind to post a few if you do please?

PCP does it again.

Was able to locate everything needed for the 6.1 ignition conversion in less than 24 hours of asking, and at a much cheaper price.

Nice......for those interested.....here are some part numbers

coils - 56029129AB
valve cover screws - 06507366AA
coil wires and harness - 05019952AA
valve covers - 05037531AC

Did you get the ball and sockets for the valve covers BTW?

Which ball and socket are you referring too? For the valve or coil covers? He did his too which is how i got some good views of the conversion. Def' gives it a non cluttered look.

Yeah, there are rubber sockets that fit on the back of the valve covers. Then there are hard plastic ***** with threads on them that the ball part fits into the rubber socket and the thread part fits over the threaded bolt on the valve covers. Thats how they stay attached.

Gotcha - Thought they were needed for the valve covers themselves but they are used so the coil covers can snap on them. Thanks.
