magnaflow cat going bad

I second the plenum leak- oil will make short work of a cat.. If you do swap o2 sensors though, make certain and get NTK/NGK's.. for some reason our 5.9's hate Bosch, which is likely the most popular brand out there.. Header shouldn't hurt your cat at all..
all of that being said: Magnaflows (which I run too) are known to have problems.. Some work out for a long time and flow really well, while others (of exact model and even lot number) blow the eff up in no time.. You may have just gotten unlucky.. You may also be able to take it up directly with magnaflow too..
