Welcome to DF.

Just a tip: its a 4x2. A 2x4 is a block of wood. I will move this to the 3rd gen Ram section (2002-2008) for you, get you some answers.

Better brakes, handling, power, or usability?
Power - search efan (big mileage improvement too), DIY intake, and look around at exhaust, look for a chip (superchip is #1 around here) as well it makes a huge difference (or so I've heard)
Handling - shocks, again do a quick search and look in FAQ
I'd also replace the rear limited slip in a hurry, they cause a lot of problems.

Best way to give the truck just a little more. Not that it don't have enough. Motor wise

limited slip is prone to failure due to some faulty clips.. motor wise...the best thing of done so far is the sonnex line pressure booster..about 40 bucks and made my truck shift a WHOLE lot better...but of course if you got the money ide buy a tuner superchips/diablo...they help later on down the road too with add ons n such

As said, tons of options. By question is how much money do you got? LOL
