The vacuum line on my durango appears to be right on the filter box.

But the only problem I have with the way he did it is the pipe is inside the flex pipe, this is like plumbing, If you did that the waste gets stuck around the outside of the pipe creating the possibility of a clog. I can imagine airflow is somewhat the same.

Did yours not need the vacuum line hook-up that he installed on the 90?
Did you use 3" flexpipe and are you concerned it will "relax" and lay on the engine block?

As I stated before, I believe the vacuum line is directly connected to the filter box. I am not concerned about it going soft and laying on the block, the 3" spectre flex pipe from oreilly auto parts is a tough plastic. And even if that did happen I could always just replace it again for $20.

I was talking about the vacuum line that looks like it runs over towards his brake booster on the right -hand side of the picture he posted coming out of the elbow he installed.

I know that, and there isn't one there. My vacuum line is connected to my air filter box. If you look at my picture you can see the line on the box, and not the TB.

Yea mine has that vacuum line just like yours(on the air cleaner box) but my hat on the tb must be a little different than yours it has a vacuum line just like the one he replumbed into the 90. I will try to get a couple pics of my hat and set-up tomorrow so you can see what I am talking about. Thanks for your help so far though.

Yep, If anything you could still run a PVC pipe at a 45 from the TB to re plumb that hose fitting and then just run a new 3" pipe all the way to the air cleaner. a new hose is the only thing different I would have done with his set up.

On second thought, scratch the 45 angle, taking a second look I see the air cleaner box is closer to the firewall so a 90 like he used would be perfect, and then just take the flex pipe and fit it over the end of the pipe and clamp it down. To avoid the second straight PVC pipe youd need an elbow with a male and a female end, female end to the TB and the male end to the end of the flex pipe. But I also believe you can just get an adapter to mount on the TB that is constructed of PVC and you could drill/tap that to work with the second vacuum line that you have.
