Default Tool Box

Guys looking to get a truck box off local craig's list, as i cant justify spending 200+ on a brand new one for the little amount of stuff i actually need to keep in it, but i defiantly need one. Anyway I can't find any local that are black and i want black so tossing around the idea of a chrome one and then painting it with bed liner from home depot, i know it doesn't hold up great but it will be good enough when it will save me 100+. Any idea though on how much weight this may add to the box? Thanks guys

Unless you plan on using 10 gallons of roll on bedliner then JDG103 is correct. those bed liner kits usually come in a small box weighs maybe around 5 lbs. and tool boxes aren't that heavy. I carried mine by myself up 3 flights of stairs at my apt and back down....(needed some touch ups done during winter time)

I have a Husky aluminum tool box from Home Depot...it's the deeper model. I guess it weighs 30-40 lbs. then add the weight of a paint can full of bedliner (that's what Herculiner comes in at home depot).........can't be more than 5lbs. extra. Your Hemi won't even know the box is back there
