I just think the trucks look great level. whether low or high. I dont want to TELL you what to do haha

Alot of people like Magnaflows on their trucks for a mild tone, or cherrybomb for a little louder. Alot of people run off and get flowmasters first and end up replacing them

LOL, no worries man, I've been reading this forum for a while, and one thing is for certain, if you have a Dodge Ram and you visit this forum, you have to level your truck. I'm not going to go full suspension and body lift or anything like that, but a nice level would be perfect.

So Magnaflow is a good way to go? Lets say I do this myself, how much can I expect to spend. Ballpark stuff.

Shoot, I might as well tell you what I plan to do to this truck now.

Level 1.5" in the front
New Shocks
Bigger Better brakes - They need replacement soon anyway
Bigger Better Battery
Exhaust - Dual or One I don't know
Tint Windows
Superchip
New Tires
Bedliner - Probably Spray In
Backup Camera
New Head Unit, stock one can't read MP3 which is stupid. You would think in anything you buy these days an MP3 capable CD player is standard.
New speakers

Hey, I was reading about MDS and aftermarket exhaust systems on the common issues thread, how can I avoid problems?

if you get a tuner you can disable MDS. it just makes an odd tone when it kicks in

So if I tune my truck could that void my warranty if I bought my truck certified? I didn't buy any extended warranty, just the powertrain that it comes with.

id go with a 2" personally, i dont think youd notice much of a difference with a 1.5

No, the Superchips will not void your warranty, but you should still de-tune the truck if you bring it to the dealer. Takes 10 minutes and just saves any hassle.

From a performance standpoint, do the "Big 3" first. Tuner, CAI and a Cat-back exhaust.

That's good to hear, sounds like tuners are pretty easy to work with. I can't wait to get started.

I have a K&N already installed, but it's not a cold air filter. I'm thinking I can hold off on that one until I get the tuner and install a cat back.
