rally stripes?

rally stripes?
i was thinking about getting rally stripes for my ram, that go from the front bumper through the grill, hood, roof, and tail gate...just wanting to get some input to what the best looking color would be? and where to buy from, i was thinking just gloss or flat black. what do you guys think?

Not really a big fan of rally stripes on a MOPAR. Rally stripes to me are a GM muscle car, GM RST truck, thing not a Dodge truck thing. However, there was a 2nd generation SST Ram in the mid to late 90's that had them so I guess it isn't too bad. What matters is that you like it. If you do then go for it. Also keep in mind however that rally stripes like that( similar not exact )are used on Roush F150's. To me rally stripes on a Dodge truck look out of place the way bed stripes like the Rumble Bee style do on a GM or other brand. Again though it is what you like.
One note - I did look at the link and see it says 2002-2010 models. The hoods are very different between 2002-2008/09 HD and the new 4th gen Ram's. Not saying it won't fit them all but be cautious it will lay out correctly and not fall on areas you don't want it to or have a lot of contour caused stress points and wrinkles.

I think that they would look great. You might want to consider Silver. I say that because a guy down the street has a Magnum that is very simular in color to your truck. And he put Silver stripes down it. And it looks awesome.

I think stripes look great... See if there is a guy in your area that does truck lettering using decals that can make you stripes, this way they would be unique to your truck. My famiy owns a trucking company and the guy that does our lettering did my stripes and I think they came out awesome.
