Default New to the Forum and have questions

Hello everyone i am new to the dodge forum. I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 2wd with a K&N Cold intake with stock dodge rams (17x8). I bought a 2" Front Lift Kit w/ Pro Comp ES3000 Shocks 2WD from Fat Bob Garage. My question is what size tire can i run with it (33 or 34 or 35 )? I did some research on this site and found an article about lifts & tires and it reads a min 2" lift to run 35" (is it true)? I found alot of 285 70 17 M/T (33") that will fit my stock rim and also found 285 75 17 Nitro A/t (34"). Not really lookin for 35"s.

What size can i run?

thank you

We have some awesome tires threads in our FAQs at the top of the section. 35s with a 2: lift on a 2wd might be stuffed and still scrub at some angles. It all depends on the width of the tire and the backspacing on the rim

Yupp if your going to run 35's you'll need 2 inches of lift and if your using your stock 17's you'll need some spacers in there. Other than that you should be good to go.
