*dream* Rockstars and Zeons!
So after all the talk I've been doing about lifting my truck, it got me thinking "If I go up 5" in the front and 2" in the rear, my stock tires are going to look funny." So I did some research and found that I really like the Cooper Zeon LTZs. A lot. I think stock size is 275/60R20 which equates to about 33"? I've got a tire size calc around here somewhere... anyway, I also saw the tires mounted on a set of 20x10 Rockstar wheels in black on a silver truck, and OMG
I don't know about going 10" wide on the wheel, but I was thinking 20x8.5 and 35" tires would tuck into the wheel wells quite nicely. Conversely, who thinks that the stock 33" size would look just fine with the lift? I'd like to purchase the tires first and the wheels later, so I'd need to purchase tires that could fit on both rims. Does the stock TPMS system work with the Rockstars? Any feedback about the tires or the wheels (rubbing, max sizes, backspacing, etc) is greatly appreciated!
Also of note, even if the tires are "noisy" I'm not really worried about that, seeing as how I will be installing the Cherry Bomb really soon

I like the tire choice. Good, solid tire for a 4x2 or a 4x4 that sees mostly pavement use but can still do light trails and such.
As for the Rockstars, I personally think they are played-out, everybody seems to have them, but they are a good wheel.
Just watch your backspacing to make sure you can fit the width of the tire in the size you choose.
35's will go, but 33s won't look stupid. There used to be a Site Moderator around here who left when he started his masters degree program who's truck I worked on quite a bit who has 6" of lift and 33s and I think it looks good, myself. His 4x2 truck with 33x12.5x17 Terra Grapplers:

You're right, 33s look great at that lift height. So I'll probably get the 275/60R20 tires and mount them on my stock rims until I can save for the new rims. Which brings me to my next point: Seems that everyone is running 0 or 10mm offset on the Dodge's with Rockstars. I cannot find where this equates to the backspacing figures I have found for our stock aluminum 20s (5.5" I think off the top of my head?). There are even websites that sell the rims, that say -6 to +20mm is the range for my application, but I'd like to be as close to stock as possible.
Great information as always Hammer! Now I'm back to the internet for more research...

Please dont get the rockstars. KMC makes a few more badass looking wheels that are not so played out. I think 1/2 trucks with aftermarket rims around here have them.
And IMO that much lift with 33s is bad. Heres mine with a 3in body lift and 2.5in level and 33s then another with the 35s:

Everyone keeps saying they're "played out" but I've seen MAYBE three sets total here in Houston in the last two years. Everyone here goes with ghetto-*** chrome rims in huge sizes, like 24 & 26". It's stupid crazy the lack of taste around here, and I LOVE the way the black Rockstars look. As far as size goes, I don't think the Zeons come in 35s, and I'm not about to drop over a grand on Terra Grapplers.
