then you can get some stenciling on the tailgate that says "when I grow up, I want to be a Kenworth".

I saw pics of the Red Xpress you mentioned. Looks pretty cool, but most of the stack is hidden by the bed. I wonder if maybe a Dakota bed and try to flare it out with a dually fender...to make it look a lot more like the lil red express

if your stack are over 3" you will lose performance and 3" stack are kinda small, i don't mind stacks but the pipes would have to be at least 5" each

i like stacks, keeps the exhaust off stuff your haulling/farm work and good if you muddin, and IMO would only put them on a diesel

i see a 3500 Cummins Mega rollin with stacks all the time...across the back window it reads... "<--Prius Repellent-->" between the stacks...btw, it runs ridiculous 1/4 mile times.

I guess I don't really understand how it could decrease performance...isn't it the point to get rid of exhaust as fast as possible to make room for more?? How do open headers on the strip work then, without a decrease in performance??

because those engines are built to run that way.
From what i have read stock or near stock hemis need a bit of back pressure to operate reliably, and to retain low end torque

also you need the heat to make the cats work properly

bigger isn't always better

Because to make it look worth a damn, you'd need decent size piping and with a shorter distance and bigger pipe, the exhaust pulse timing and scavanging would be fu*ked...

And I think the modern Lil Red Express looks like chit, you need the step side bed and woodgrain to pull off the stacks:
